Mr. Acheson,

After speaking to you, I submit my views

on the Audit Department proposals in the form

of a Memo, which if approved could be communicated

to the Governor.

As regards paragraph 7 of my memo the

substitution, when a suitable vacancy occurs,

of one Senior Assistant Auditor and two

Assistant Auditors for the present top heavy

arrangement
